Capital Blue Cross Board Chairman William Lehr, Jr. was unanimously elected President and CEO following the September 15th resignation of Anita M. Smith.

Also elected were Board Member Ronald J. Drnevich to Senior Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman of the Board, and James M. Mead as Special Advisor to the President and CEO. Mead had served as as Board Member and Vice Chairman.
