As part of his duties as a member of the White House Team of State Legislators for Health Reform, Rep. Josh Shapiro (D-Montgomery) met today with various stakeholders from across the state, and a liaison from the White House, to discuss the condition of health care in Pennsylvania and possibilities for reform. Nick Rathod, Deputy Associate Director of the White House Office of Inter Governmental Affairs, reported the President would like to see a health care bill on his desk by October.
