SB 862 was unanimously reported as committed after two amendments were withdrawn. HB 1821 was unanimously reported with one amendment that limits the bill to direct investments only. Several members asked about the fiscal impact of the bill, to which Rep. Shapiro said other states that have divested have not seen a decrease in returns due to the divestment.
