Speaking before the Pennsylvania Press Club, Rep. Rohrer said, “Instead of becoming the next state party to endorse a candidate without cause and set off a grassroots revolt, give rank and file Republicans  a window into the process.” He went on to say, ”Ask us about our world view, our policy proposals and how we propose to get Pennsylvania out of the economic ditch.” Rep. Rohrer also argued that “by pursuing a top heavy, not a bottom up, approach to candidate selection, Republicans are missing the best opportunity they have to build a strong, idea-driven party.”
