The Senate Aging and Youth Committee met to consider a bill (which was passed over due to the lack of a quorum) and to learn about the Department of Aging’s proposed Integrated Care Plan. The committee heard from several testifiers in opposition to the plan, though many acknowledged the intent is laudable. Aging Secretary Hall defended the plan, which is being rolled out in the southwest, stating it will supplement current options and extend service to currently unserved individuals.
